The Office of Academic and Student Programs is responsible for the provision of student services and advising, coordination of the School curriculum, and conducting Pharm.D. program  admissions. Services offered to students include the following: orientation to the School of  Pharmacy, internship and licensure applications, program advising, information on elective  requirements, registration advising and entry codes, information on student programs and  activities, tutoring services, information and assistance with graduation applications, information  on program changes, financial aid information, academic and career counseling, and information on the University of Washington support services.

Our hours of operation are: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. Weekends and holidays, the office will be closed. School is not in session on the following holidays

The School of Pharmacy is located in the H-Wing of the Magnuson Health Sciences Center, west of the UW Medical Center on Northeast Pacific Street. The School of Pharmacy regularly holds information sessions regarding the PharmD program and application procedures. For more details go to the website at or call 206–685–2715. Affiliations

The School of Pharmacy is an integral part of the Magnuson Health Sciences Center, an internationally recognized teaching, research and patient care facility, which includes:

Child Care
Enrolled students with children under the age of seven who need childcare may be eligible for childcare assistance offered through the University’s Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs. This program will help pay the costs at any state licensed or certified facility in the Seattle area. To apply, please submit the Childcare Request Form to the Childcare Assistance Program for Students. Transportation
Special bicycle lanes and paths extend in several directions from campus. Buses connect the campus with many locations within, and beyond, the city. The University subsidized UPASS is offered to students for transit options and use with carpool parking on campus. Health Care
The University provides outpatient health and medical care for students through the Hall Health Primary Care Center. Located on campus, the center is staffed by physicians and nurse practitioners. Please call 206–685–1011 for additional information. Health insurance is available for registered students through the University of Washington, and is highly recommended. Health Sciences Libraries
The Health Sciences Libraries offers study and computing space, a collection of over 400,000 books and access to more than 9000 electronic journals in support of research, clinical and learning needs. Two librarians are assigned as liaisons to the School of Pharmacy to assist with information management needs.

Federal Financial Aid
To be eligible for federal financial aid through the Office of Student Financial Aid (OSFA), an individual must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or other eligible non-citizen and be admitted to the University in a degree or certificate program. Priority consideration is given to students who submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to the Federal Processor’s Office by the February deadline. The School of Pharmacy also offers a limited number of scholarships and grants. These funds are awarded each year on the basis of demonstrated need, scholastic achievement, professional motivation and leadership potential. Western Internstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE)
Applicants to the UW School of Pharmacy PharmD Program who are residents of Alaska, Hawaii or Nevada may be eligible for financial support through WICHE’s Professional Student Exchange Program (PSEP). This Program enables students to enroll in selected out-of-state professional programs, usually because those fields of study are not available at public institutions in their home states. If selected for support, WICHE exchange students pay reduced levels of tuition - usually resident tuition in public institutions or reduced tuition at private schools. The home state pays a support fee to the admitting schools to help cover the cost of the students’ education. WICHE students receive some preference in admission.
